Library
The Bherulal Patidar Govt PG College, MHOW Library was founded in 1958 and has a building area of approximately 400 square meters. Since its establishment, the library has fulfilled the information needs of students, research scholars, and teaching staff through its various resources and services. The library remains open from 10:30 AM to 05:30 PM daily except Sundays and government holidays.
The library has 80416 books, which include text books (related to college courses), reference books (Encyclopedia Britannica, Encyclopedia Americana, McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology, Census, and so on), Competition books (SSC, MPPSC, UGC/NET JRF, etc.). The Library also has a special collection on Mahatma Gandhi entitled “The Collected work of Mahatma Gandhi” in 100 Volumes.
The library provides the following services to its users: issue/return of books; reservation of books; internet facility; OPAC facility; departmental libraries; reference and information service; reading hall; inter-library loan service (through DELNET); book exhibition; internship programme; user awareness service and book distribution scheme (for SC/ST category students). For issue/return of the books, the library follows the register system. The library issued 2 books to the students for 15 days. The e-library has 15 computers and provides internet facilities for its users. The library also has a reading room, which has a capacity of 15 students.
The Library subscribed 9 newspapers in Hindi and English Language namely Dainik Bhaskar, Nai Duniya, Patrika, Raj Express, Times of India, The Free Press, Indore Samachar, Chautha Sansar, Priya Pathak. The library also subscribed two magazines namely Pratiyogita Darpan and India Today.
The library subscribed two databases for e-resources namely N-LIST and DELNET. Both databases provide access to e-resources from within the campus and also outside the campus (remote log in). Through these databases, users can access thousands of e-journals and books free of cost.
The library uses e-granthalaya 4.0 software for library automation. The automation work of the library is in process.
The Library organized several program to aware the users about library resources and services such as Library orientation program, Library bridge program, exhibition on Mahatma Gandhi, Webinar on INFLIBNET: Resources and Services, Webinar on DELNET: Resources and Services and Webinar on Copyright as an Intellectual Property.

Library Rules
- Users should always carry their valid Identity Card of the current session issued by the college and produce the same whenever asked by the Library staff.
- Members are required to observe silence in the Reading Halls.
- Library users must keep their bags at Property Counter.
- Without proper permission and issuance, no library material can be taken out from the Library.
- Sleeping, eating, smoking, chewing Pan/Pan Masala/Gutkha/Khaini, talking on cell phones and talking loudly anywhere in the library is strictly prohibited.
- Members sitting in the Reading Hall/e-library are required to set their cell phones to vibrate mode and step outside the library to talk/attend a call.
- Users are not allowed to install any software on computers in the e-library. For installation of any software, users are instructed to take prior permission from the library staff.
